PhD in Hope

An application to study a PhD in hope for prisoners at Durham University has been successfully secured under the academic supervision of Professor Graham Towl and Professor Tammi Walker. Professor Towl, former Chief Psychologist at the Ministry of Justice and Professor Walker, Fellow at the British Psychological Society, will bring immense experience, knowledge and credibility to the doctorate.

Criminology at Durham is ranked number 2 in the Guardian Best UK Universities rankings for 2023.

This development strengthens the path to the project to improve the lives of prisoners across the world, by understanding the nature of hope.
